Over fifteen area hockey clubs in the MetroWest High
School Hockey League compete at the Addison Ice Arena during the fall and spring
seasons. The following schools also have scheduled practices at the Addison Ice
Arena three to four days a week:
FLAMES YOUTH HOCKEY ORGANIZATION
The
Flames Youth Hockey Organization is a Tier II and House hockey club that is a part of the CSDHL, NIHL & NWHL. Visit

Tournaments
The Addison Ice Arena hosts a
tournament almost every weekend of the hockey season, with major regional,
national, and international tournaments at various times throughout the year.

The
Chicago Cup Tournament Series through Advanced Tournaments
brings 60 to 145 youth hockey teams to the Chicagoland area each month
between September and May. The majority of these tournaments have games
at the Addison Ice Arena. Visit

The
Nike Bauer International Invite will host an annual tournament
each November. In 2005, the tournament attracted 108 teams from
USA, Canada, Russia, and Czech Republic and brough in 224 teams from
eight countries in 2006! Visit

From its
modest beginnings in the spring of 2003, the
Bresy Chi-Town Shuffle
has grown into a tournament of international stature. The tournament was
renamed last year in honor of former Chicago Mission coach
Tim Breslin. Tim passed away suddenly on February 9, 2005
after a short bout with cancer. Tim’s passing stunned his family and
friends, not only because he was so young and vital, but because he had
been the consummate professional athlete and seemed to be responding
well to his treatments. |

Chicagoland Adult Hockey League (GCAHL). They offer three to four sessions per
