The Addison Ice Beginner Hockey Program is a partnership between the Addison Ice Arena and Advanced Power Hockey. The partnership is designed to allow our young players to continually develop to the next level of youth hockey at each appropriate point of the learning cycle and eventually join travel programs with the skills and ability to compete and excel. The program will be under the direction of the Midwest's premier hockey training company, Advanced Power Hockey. Our instructors have proven through years of coaching to consistently provide the experience and skill development necessary for young aspiring hockey players to be able to eventually compete and succeed at competitive levels of youth hockey. The completion of the Annual Spring Dyna-Mite League Session, which is a game-only format of ten-to twelve games with one travel game, is the highlight of the development program for our players who have spent between one and three years developing their skating and hockey skills. The mission of our beginning hockey program is to provide a fun and challenging environment for young players to develop a love for the sport and the skills to excel at all levels.
